Predator V2 RTF kit Support Thread

    hi
I've recently bought the Predator V2 kit.
    Looks great.
    However....

I've connected it twice to test and show off. Now I want to connect it again, and I've got no signal. The goggles are working, but only showing static. All batteries are charged (even tried another) and I am aware not to connect power without the antenna.
Any suggestions? The TX is showing a red LED, the goggles only static no matter how many times I press the change channel buttons. It seems that if I move around a bit with the TX, the static changes, but never comes close to a view.
It did work, and I've changed nothing.
One more remark: I think the TX is getting pretty warm, is that normal?

Yes, the Tx will get warm. Make sure you never power it without the antenna, however. I cannot remember for sure, but the Predators should have a 2-way switch to select video in/out. I bet you have it flipped to the wrong side and changing it should work. Just make sure you get back to the right channel since you changed it around.

thanks for your hint, but that wasn't the question. I also didn't connect without the antenna. I've tried switching every channel possible but still nothin

I am referring to this switch:

    User Controls:
    Channel selection
    Volume control
    Mode selection (wired/wireless)

    nop, sorry.
it respons in a way that with this in the 'off' mode there is no static at all (just a white screen), but with it swithed on......static (depends on whether I move the camera/TX or the goggles. But no image. Strange, because the first two times it worked like a charm....

That does sound strange. Hopefully someone else can chime in?

    I think I've found something.
Look at the picture. I've been googling around and find one or two stories about the camera.
So, I took a closer look (listen) and heart some noice in the camera when shaking. I've opened it and found this.

Now, how to fix this small camera part.....figure something out...Click image for larger version.
