I cannot say no because I used to say the same thing about the 5.8 stacked fan, I will say "not now"

Can the cable from the final T that would go to the receiver be made longer without affecting the tuning.I am trying to fgure out how to mount on my AAT and I think it would be easier with a longer cable than the one that came on it.Can a 1foot coax be run to the RX.I am amazed how light it is for the size of it.Its only 150g heavier than the crosshair I have.

    You can extend that cable.
From the final Tee, the antenna is at 50ohm, so cable length no longer mater.

Hello, in the phasing network may be used a longer 50ohm coax (for example 3/4 wave) instead the 1/4 wave to get 100ohm? in a 5.8ghz project this would be helpful...

What's the reflector size(for 1280MHz) and how far apart are the crosshairs spaced?

Thanks for your answer Hugo; i have another question: are the elements rotated like this:

^Sort of, but not quite. Think about phase rotation. Each element has to be delayed and rotated, right? Ok, lets compare the lower left and upper right corners:

    Upper right: Angle=0, phase=0
    Lower left: Angle=180, phase=180

If you do your math, you quickly realize that 180 rotation with 180 degrees of phase delay = 360 degrees. Thus, you COULD rotate that element and delay it 180 degrees, OR you could simply phase it exactly the same as the upper right element.

By the way, I did this exact same thing in my double stack pepperbox. I sent the pictures to Hugo and he chuckled about how difficult I made it by both phase delaying the cable and rotating the elements. It was one of my facepalm moments...

If it is broken, fix it. if it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.
