    Cant help you with that
    I dont use gps
    No need to
Just start the plane next to the aat and it always work
I found the aat converters better working than the osd audio
So I switched al my planes to tha converter
    Happy flyer with the aat
The video signal is sooo much better

Added a gps to my tracker, works as advertised.

I had never upated the aat as i had heard so many horror stories. When i went to plug the gos in i found that the uart plug had dry soder joints and just fell off. Oh and one of my gps failed to talk to the tracker. Lucky i am not using that tinyosd.

I am all set to fly tomorrow! Might even attach a gopro to the antenna to watch it track.

Slightly more versatility and ease of setup. If you run your tracker somewhere you dont have to power up the plane next to it.You can run the tracker from a moving platform. The first one is the one I prefer so I can set the tracker away from me out in the open while I sit and fly in a nice shady spot .The other thing I have planned to do is sit my tracker way high on a hill to maintain better los while driving a grounpounder of flying a mini quad low.

Personally what I would love is if I could feed the tracker location data either embedded in video or over bluetooth for more options the audio link hasnt always been reliable for me especially on 1.2 setups although I may try Wippos suggestion and see if the converters do actually work better than osd audio.

I have had my TBS Capi for a while now, but I heard of the new GPS mod to the tracker. I thought I would give it a go and I believed it worked flawlessly.

However today during a fly after reviewing the video I noticed two things:
    - The tracker seemed to get lost easily (twice in 5 min flight)
    - The vertical pitch did not operate during tracking
    - I am using an Afronaze32 with a Skylark GPS. Skylark convert module is between Afonaze32 and GPS (GPS is being used for RTH).

During the flight below you can "clearly" hear (in original audio) the convert module modem through the flight, even when the AAT is not pointing in its direction. It identifies the GPS and tracks it during launch, about halfway in between and identifies it towards the end as being too close so point upward. As I land outside of 20m it then reacquires the correct direction at landing.

Skylark, can you please clarify what can be wrong here as I believed it was working fine prior to the update.
    - Does the Convert module also send height for antenna pitch changes?
    - Are any functions lost during the GPS add on update?
    - What are the most likely failures?

I am using an m8n with Inav using the ublox protocol. Can the convert module use the ublox protocol? What about if I want to use the convert module with a washer tree vector setup?

Anyone managed to feed this tracker data from a crossfire to give the tracker coordinattes of the plane?
