Anyone use a second camera to aid in landing on tail draggers? Seems like landing one of those FPV would be especially tough. Thinking of a second camera on bottom of the plane, could double as a bomb site as well if you put it on a tilt servo...

Sea Vixen DH110 - Durafly - FPV Version

thought i'd share my FPV version of the Sea Vixen on this great log. thanks for the tips to all of you contributors

especially in FPV i'd like to have my rudder. so i had to modify the kit accordingly especially at the right angle! what a pain it is to built that kit! nothing to do with FPV. there I was tempted to make a "cockpit only" version. that's not ideal for great FPV performance due to components/antenna placement but when properly wired a decent result can be achieved i found.

with a gyro in place and speed around 60mph she becomes a super stable and controllable airplane! like on rails is just her middle name - a true pleasure to fly and very good looking!

    happy landings

You don't need those, when landing just get the 'feel' sensation of right landing angle and touch down. A better way is quickly remove your FPV goggle and land via line of sight.

Oh my dream Durafly jet, unfortunately was discontinue. You can put those VTX antenna underneath for better video coverage and keeping it scale. But make sure to retract back your landing gear when you land. All my FPV planes antenna is below between landing gear.

I guess I am very late to the FPVLab party. So this s where the FPV Warbird guys hang out. Here's my hat into the ring with Avios Spitfire with DJI Goggles RE Combo.
