    10. THE CURRENT VIDEO TRANSMITTERS AND RECEIVERS ARE GOOD ENOUGH FOR FPV

FALSE. All the current RF modules were not designed for FPV. They were designed for static application.

Just another example: It has been widely commented that the 5.8GHz receiver modules suffer from a strange phenomenon: you get some "noisy" bands when flying away. You can almost totally loose the signal for example at 1000 meters, but if you are brave enough to fly through it, you recover a perfect video and you can fly up to 2Km.

My personal opinion is that this is caused by a poorly designed Automatic Gain Control circuit, which is not suited for our application.

Wireless video equipment designed specifically for FPV use (i.e. moving transmitters) are still to come, and this will bring a massive improvement over the current setups. Much more than slightly improving VSWR of the antennas...

If someone has been brave enough to read until here, with my not so good english, I can just say thank you. I hope you will appreciate the effort I have put in writing this.

No intention to attack anybody. I just wanted to clarify some misconceptions that are flooding the forums lately...

    Have a god night.

No words! Very interesting, and also not so hard to understand (from myth 3 LOL), thanks you a lot! Finally can see a description of how the things are, and not see many peoples writing about things that non professional persons like me can't understand.
