I had to use that location to put the Rvosd. The lipo's are in parallel set just behind the nose cam, fairly tight on space. If you can find the right combination of gear placement to make it balance out, the downward cam mounting is possible. I was looking in to see if I can use a single wheel on the Cg and centerline with a skid near the nose to allow not only takeoffs but to keep from scuffing the lenses.

I putt ape on the bottom of my pod, won't work for you guys. But with mine I have the gopro on the wing I guess I could always just point it at the ground.

What did you do to that ape?

Could put a small monkey on the nose but might end up with too much drag. Thought apes hated flying though.

I did manage to get out to 3.32 miles yesterday before the Navy started using the bombing range next field over. Made 10.5 miles during the entire flight using 2.6 amps out of the 9 amps on board, 27 minutes flight time.

Trying to get the ground video to process as I had to pull off the contour camera due to placement, interfered with the receiver and almost lost the plane at 1,000ft out when I had a small lockup.

I wanted to check out a few issues and had just enough time before the sun went down too much more.
