Here is video from the last one....and I'll post a pic of the motor, I don't know that it's the perfect motor but it is efficient, runs about 300-350mah per mile...

Don't run the aeronaut cam on this, it's too heavy, I'm running with an APC 12x6 this time around because it did so well on the Skyhunter with the same motor.

This is a hack for the motor mount so you can remove the motor later if you want. Go with 1/2" - the 3/4 and 1" are too long and will torque under stress.

That video definitely looked familiar, might be able to see it fly again when all the house repairs are done.

So the maiden was a success, although I have a TON of torque in with the 12x6 so I am gong to have to figure out which way to turn the motor.

How is this for efficiency, 237mah per mile.

Want to send me a paypal invoice for 2 of em, I'll keep a spare.

So the 12x6 was night/day - problem I have now is that I have a LOT of left roll dialed in, which way do I counter with the motor?
It means that this bird with it's standard battery can do the 10 mile trip to the Brothers......and I'm anxious tosend it on it's way.
Dale has a 3S Chimerea wing that is doing slightly better on the efficiency, he too could make it and we are hoping to before the weather goes to crap!

    Anyway send me a paypal tngbbs - - A - - Comcast.net

Chimera better than techpod in efficiency? Something is wrong somewhere, you should get 1.5 to 2x the km/Whr.

What is my efficiency based on the numbers above?

I'm only running an 800kv motor, maybe it's too much or not enough?
Dale ran 3S on the Chimera, I run 4S on teh techpod and the weight difference is substantial, he is far lighter than I am....
