    Yes, and I had 5 feet of coax coiled up - if there were to be any leakage that would certainly cause some issue (Doubtful) mostly was for cable management but it also minimizes the length of the coax...

    But I sure like the 14DBI with the N - connector!

    I hope you enjoy the Omni! Does it give you enough range for FPV flight? What other gear are you using in your setup? Just curious!

    im short range at this time. i dont have enough battery or radio for long range. im using fatshark googles, 600mw video tx, and a uno 5800 receiver hooked to a netbook and 24 inch monitor. as soon as the Lcom omni arrives im gonna tried mid range on my quadcopter in my neighborhood. there is this giant pine tree down the street that i have a goal of flying around and come back and RTH autoland.
