If this is becoming basically the thread talking about how we've all drifted away from FPV as our main hobby, I'm afraid I have done that as well. I still have a perfectly functional Chimera wing, but I've only flown it a handful of times in the last 2 years. Ever since I got a Mavic Pro, it has been way easier to fly that than lug all the ground station gear for my plane around, set it up, and find a large enough area to launch the plane from. The Mavic is so much more easily transportable, and with all of DJI's altitude limits and NFZs removed, just as capable for long distance FPV in the mountains as my plane (just not as good at proximity diving). I haven't flown that a whole lot either after getting assaulted while flying it last year. I've been kind of paranoid ever since and generally only fly if I'm in the middle of nowhere on National Forest or BLM lands and nowhere near private property.

I've pretty much moved on to Jeeping/off roading as my main hobby, which gee, talk about another hobby the government is constantly trying to ban. These days I spend a lot of my time immersed into the arcane depths of Forest Service travel management policy and fighting environmental groups that are trying to get the Forest Service to close all of the Jeep trails in Colorado.
