Wish I could come, going to the US isn't a problem, but bringing a plane with me is...

Will be for the near future, transporting a twinstar is just not possible, maybe when I buy a zeph it will get possible

Have fun guys, will be watching live!

Will: pick date and time already Don't worry about who can make it and democracy, just pick what works for you. If you stay away from the 4th most people will be there. Ocean shores seems like a wind risk...but I'll be there.

    Congrats on the 10k flight!

Hey guys, I am looking at the The Gorge Amphitheatre 754 Silica Road, Quincy, WA. I know that is a far ride. Heck, it's further away from me then anyone. I have never been to the site but I have heard that it is amazing and it looks like it is from the google earth view. It also looks like it'd be quite rf speaking and good for camping and night flights.

How to you guys feel about that ride? I want to get the most out of this trip and being this is our second meet I think it's time to go a bit bigger.

    Thoughts

Arrgh! Logistics?!#@# After a bit more thought and after making that post it came to me. That is a great area, but it is almost always windy from what I remember. I am back to the drawing board. Ocean Shores maybe. We are still on for the 13-14-15, you can book those dates.

I don't think I have ever been to Ocean Shores when the wind has been under 20mph. It is often 30 or 40 mph when I go. (I fly large stunt kites so Ocean Shores is a great site.). I guess it just adds to the excitement

We'll have a site here in the next day or so. I've been spread a little thin but will do some more hunting. Keep the ideas coming guys!

I'm definitely open for the Gorge, haven't been to the amphitheater since Van Halen in '95. Would be a hell of a spot for camping out and bringing both of my planes. Ocean Shores could be an option as well when the plans come together.

Hey guys, please give some input as to locations.

Requirements: Must be able to camp on-site, needs to be available the 13-14-15th, must be allowed to fly there.

The Gorge would be intense and awesome, the wind would most likely destroy most of out planes though. I'd be willing to give it a go for sure but I am trying to think of the group as a whole. Thoughts from you guys?
