The magpies go a bit crazy this time of year - where was that shot?

Most people fly with Core OSD, so you monitor what's left in the battery. The voltage monitor kicks in the first time the voltage drops under a certain level. If you do a fast ascend the voltage drops enough to trigger even if you got half the battery left.
This is a annoying thing... Especially if you fly manual and then change to atti mode. Voltage monitor is deactivated in manual anyway.

So my Tip deactivate it, it's only helpful if you fly LOS or w/o OSD

what are you guys doing with regards to props not showing in video from gopro in wide settings? I have graupner 9x5's and the prop still is visible in widest settings.

vstanman, add a about 1.5cm of padding to the back of the GoPro.

Question is, do I have to commit myself to a build standard, I.e, UHF control etc etc OR. can I progressively upgrade when funds permit. Ultimately I'd like UHF Control and 2.4 VTx, altogether in one fell swoop and it'll have to be 6 months I'm off the smokes...

hey man, good luck with giving up the cigarettes! I can imagine it's not easy. Good thing FPV isn't unhealthy, or we'd all have some serious issues no worries on "upgradeability", you don't commit to any frequency with the frame.

From your picture, it looks like you have your naza compass mounted backwards. Shouldn't the arrow point forwards?

Long time no post, I flew again today after I replaced the lens on my GoPro camera. This is the craziest thing I've done so far with a quad. 10km car chase, it was insanely fun but pretty damn disorienting. I actually felt a little nauseous at one point because my brain kept getting mixed signals.
