Difference between antenna?

The antenna on the left is a 1.2Ghz and the one on the right is a 433Mhz. Why do not she have the same shape? They are both dipoles?

One is quarter and one is half wavelength my guess... All else being equal the longer will perform better.

The short answer is one is a whip(long) and the other a rubber duck. Frequency typically drives the length of the antenna. If Im not mistaken the inside of the rubber duck is more than a simple wire, hence the housing.
