Fatshark Faceplace for Big Boof Heads

    Hi All,

I have a pair of the Fatshark HD2 goggles that I have never been able to use because the faceplate is extremely uncomfortable for my big fat head. I find the faceplate presses really hard against the edge of my eyes near the temples and stops my eyes from getting close enough to the screens to view properly.

I love Fatshark goggles especially my 2 Base SD and Dominator V2's because there is no faceplate. I am concerned that I will never be able to use the Dominator HD V3 or newer goggles in the future.

Is there a faceplate for fat heads like me or is there a modification that I can make to the faceplate to fit properly.

If not I will have a pristine set of Dominator HD2's to sell.

    Neil

Have you used the thinnest foam? Also, if you don't mind the BASE SD and DOMV2 you can put eyecups onto the HD2 shell and try that.

Thanks for the reply I was not sure that you could go back to eye cups on the newer goggles.

I found this video on toutube and realized that while the goggles are a tight fit width wise it is mainly the cheek bones that cause the problem.
