Mavic Air, DJI’s high performance Spark sized Mavic Arrives

Mavic air, a successor to the DJI Mavic Pro is a smaller, lighter and more advanced drone at a lower price.
Is the Mavic Air better than the Mavic Pro? Mavic Air or Spark? The answer depends on your needs. Keep rolling to find your answer.

Half the size and 40% lighter than the Mavic Pro

Mavic Air delivers a tiny, lightweight Spark appearance. With a maximum speed of 68.4km/h, the Mavic air is faster than Mavic pro(65km/h). At only half the weight of the Mavic Pro, it has a reduced battery, from 3830mAh to 2375 mAh. This translates to a reduction in flight time from 30 mins to 21 mins (when flown at speeds of under 25km/h.) If 20 mins is not enough, you can always grab a few extra batteries to extend the flight time.

How Smart Is The Mavic Air?

With seven cameras spread around the Mavic Air has full 360 vision. This is integrated into Flight Autonomy 2.0. the direct environment around the Mavic is 3D mapped in real time and the route will automatically avoid obstacles and other objects.

Beginners no longer have to worry about how to avoid obstacles by hand control and more advanced flyers won’t need to replace blades so often.

    TapFly

With ActiveTrack, you can choose up to 16 selectable subjects for Mavic Air to follow. When you want to record moments of outdoor activities, it can autonomously record your movements from the sky.

    Smart Capture

Compared to Gesture Control in the Spark, with the Smart Capture, the control of Mavic pro is more sensitive and smooth.

    More Playable Shooting

With 1/2.3 inch CMOS, Mavic Air offers all the usual video features such as 1080/60p, 4K/30p, customizable picture profiles. Besides, dazzling auto-shooting and surprising post-processing make it more convenient to make and publish your videos.

    32 MP Sphere Panoramas
Make a 32MP sphere panoramas photo in Mavic Air within 8 seconds, the creative method gives you an impressive full field panorama.

    Quick Shoots

Quick shots make capturing great footage easy. The Mavic Air has six different QuickShots; Rocket, Dronie, Circle, Helix, Asteroid, and Boomerang. You can then share your creations on social media through the DJI Go 4 app.

    Mavic Air Replaced Spark Completely

Mavic air keeps the balance between high photograph quality and portability at a lower price. It is for those beginners and travel enthusiasts who have swung from Mavic Pro to spark. So instead of saying “Mavic air is simplified from Mavic pro”,it would be fairer for me to say Air is an excellent DJI drone with many optimized details, which completely transcends Spark.
