    Vortex 250 silver grounding bar

Ok there is a silver bendy bar that sit on top of the tx an is held down by the 2 screws in the pic. I assume it is there for providing ground.

If I am wrong can someone speak up please.

I was wondering we're can I get another one from ? I took my vortex apart now I can find that piece. An my vortex won't stabilize an I think it's because that isn't there.

That piece is not a grounding bar, its sole purpose is to keep the vtx in place in a crash. I lost mine too, and I have been flying without one with no issues.

From the manual (there's also a schematic in there where it goes):

"Q. I have taken my 250 Pro apart, and this ‘Spring Thing’ popped out, where doesit go? The ‘Spring Thing’ is a dual-purpose part which fits above the video transmitter module.
It serves three purposes, first it mechanically restrains the video transmitter module during aserious collision.
Secondly, it acts as a heat-sink, transmitting heat from the transmitter module into the air, andinto the frame.
Lastly, it reduces damaging forces on the PDB during a serious crash, which could result incracks in the copper traces.
To install the spring, assemble the Vortex completely except for the side plates. Assemble theside plates while inserting the spring "

Actually, that's not its sole purpose. It also acts as a heat sink. People have burned up their VTXs because they thought they didn't need that piece when they put it back together.

Why not? Everything should be available as spares. Don't be like Horizon/Blade.

Because they are not really essential for the function of the quad. I have never had a issue with mine poping out, and I have really hit it hard, lol. The heat transfer is not really vital, because the air passing over and through the quad does more than a good job at cooling.
