Thread: FrSky R9 + R9M module 900Mhz (868Mhz EU) Long range system

    The only issue I have is that the tiny connector is a bit tinyer than usual and they provide only one for the R9slim. You have to resolder the cables each time you want to update the firmware instead of simply making yourself an update cable from a spare connector.

    Trust me, if you find a working firmware that doesn't give you trouble... NEVER even think about updating! That is how horror movies start!

    So very true!

    Reminds me of the first time i updated the firmware on an old Sony mobile phone, it was fantastic before i went and updated it, after the update i really regretted it and it was never the same.

    Smartphones are like that, but for another reason... they have to make it bad with updates to get you to buy the new model... can't have you using the same thing for years!

    Exactly!

    Its all mostly disposable technology these days, such a shame.
