Thread: Balsa Bashing a CAC Boomerang.

    Installed the tailwheel and connected the pushrod. The wheel is scale at 50mm diameter
    but looks cartoonish... might swap it out for something smaller/lightweight.

    Finished up shaping the elevators





    Made the elevator joiner and silver soldered the control arm into place.

    FPV era made foam pushing balsa away but boy it's so nice to see a good traditional build! Nice work bro, will be following the progress
    If you're a noob, copy 1:1 what somebody already flies without too much questions, you'll find the answers later.

    I got my wing plans printed so I began work on the outer right wing panel.

    I've built a couple of topflite kits but this is the first time designing my own. I could only find one set of plans for the
    boomerang and they were hard to read and left out alot of detail regarding construction methods etc so I thought

    It needs to be repaired.... ran out of runway on landing and ripped out the landing gear .
