Started on my Spec wing since I'm mostly done with my HC44. Waiting on batteries for HC44 from HK. Hoping the spec wing will go quicker as I understand how the build goes. A few things I will incorporate as I go. I cant upload pics for some reason, so no build progress it seems.

Fpvlab sucks at photo uploads. Go to imgur, sign up for free and upload there - they give you a plethora of different coding options for posting to websites / boards that make posting super easy - you just copy and paste the links they give you into your posts and your pictures show up.

Got my spec and 38 in, beautiful kits by the way. Can you give some tips on getting the thrust angle correct on the motor mount? do you just go 90 from tailing edge in the center of the wing, or do you run a line from the point of the leading edge to the middle of the trailing edge ?

Edit: Also , what are the CG's for each the spec and HC38?

YEs, straight shot through the chord of the wing. CG for spec is 6.75in.

Cut the mount like shown in the HC thread through chord and TE center. Spec 6 3/4 38 is just a tad under 7.5

    My First Ritewing

Got my sexy Spec wing just about done. I'm still waiting on the motor and esc from SBA since they are backordered everywhere. I'm debating on how I want to mount the camera but I like the way it turned out. I learned a lot from this build but on my 38 I will probably follow Chris's build process.
