Use any 2-6S LiPo pac with your your Fatshark/FPV goggles

    Hi guys,

I put together a DIY Fatshark Battery Alternative that may be useful for some! This is something I wish I'd know when I started, so hopefully it helps someone else too

Here I am using a 4S LiPo to power my Dom V3s

If you have questions or think there's a better way to do it, let me know and I'll add it to the article!

What kind of battery does it use?

You could use any type as long as the regulator you choose can handle it.

I did a similar mod a while back using an adjustable regulator off eBay for about a dollar! Set it to 8V so it powers fan and goggles. I also power my receiver module via the fan connector to take the load off the goggles power distribution too. Just tap the power from within the fan connector, snip the ground and Vcc pins from the module and solder the power leads on via a 5V regulator.
