    yeah, that's something I know a thing or two about as well...lol Before my daughter was born a few years ago I was free soloing in Yosemite...great skillset to have (the freedom of the hills) if yer gonna be risking a craft up there, lol.. I happen to live very close to some epic stuff, just haven't flown it yet...

    How do you guys handle the cold weather? Is heating the batteries worth while or keeping them in your pocket till launch? temps are dropping here and the lift is incredible, but my batteries loose punch quite fast. This spot is is easy for me to get to but with the cold I came back with less battery then the last time I went up there even though I flew slow. I hope to do some snow flying soon and I only have minimum mah on board as it is. I am at 6k feet and the peaks I want to fly this winter are 8k.

    Is "FPV proxy flying" defined by a style, or like physical proximity to objects (moving and not). What is it that defines proxy flying for you?
