    Great feedback, much appreciated.
    I am a fan of center Fins, you can see that on Z3 47 , Spade 70 and the Drak series.
    I have some new designs I will be tweaking.

    The Hornet is bether... problem is .. straight flying it starts wabbling after some times .. the faster you go the worse it get.. so i thing you have to give the plane some center "winglets" ... like a FX61-Phantom or a Z3,

    The Body it seltf is perfect.. very good for some componants... if i would build it my selfe.. i would make the hornet 600-700mm wide... and 2 carbon-centerplates instead of wood like it is now.. to winglets or one stabalizer in the middle and it would be the best racer i think!

    Slow Turns, but also good speed,... more crash resistantc than any other!

    Nice =)

    If i would have a cuter here i would have some dream birds flying ..

    When you cut them... i would like to test the profile you designed!
    Cheers

    Just curious... What do center fins do aerodynamically?

    They provide vertical stability. Without them the plane would want to slip all over, mostly in the yaw axis. I once built a wing and used vertical stabilizers that were too small and it was like each wing kept trying to get ahead of the other. Once I installed proper verts, it was solid as a rock.

    Even in the center of the plane like where the gopro is mounted? Those are in front of the CG.

    In front of the cg it will have virtually no effect. For stabilizers to do their job they need to be behind the cg.

    subscribed. I like the IYF and TL wings. TL 42 was a great wing. Would be interesting to apply todays building techniques to yesterdays planes and see how they do.
