Seriously, No flaps with Vector, what tha?

So we can use S-Bus and there is a flap choice in the software and I can set up a channel on my radio and I can see it move it the Vector software but there appears to be no way to output that control to an aux channel.

So have I missed something or is this a total fail on the part of Eagle Tree?

So going to convert to full length flaperons and see if I can get that working.

I just control my flaps directly from the receiver and skip the configuration in the Vector Receiver Wizard

Yes I could do that when I was using a receiver with PWM outputs but since swapping to a TBS Crossfire Micro that is not possible.

I can set the Vector to have a second rudder, elevator or aileron so surely to be able to use that output as the flap channel it would be a line of coding that should take like a few minutes.

Okay so I just got a FrSky PWM converter. $10 and just works.

PeteDee, can you post a picture of how you wired it?

That is one of my complaints of the vector. It is good enough for my full house glider that I still use it, but having vector use the flaps for full-span ailerons when navigating would be useful.

    Hi guys,

why do you think, it is impossible with micro Crossfire ? Its fully working with micro, nano or nano diversity. Just define on which pin you want to have anything from CRSF. s.bus till PWM for normal servo input. Just few clicks on CX Tx.
Full span ailerons with flaps for navigation are from my point of view a bit controversal... thare is in deed more area that "drives" on the other side there each "deformation" of profile leads to lower efficiency - mostly higher drag without any big benefit.

My setup is with a Dragon Link and the Vector. Flaps are connected directly to the DL.
The Vector takes care of stability, for which the flaps are not necessary, and other functions.
Never had a problem with that.
