FPV K949 super comp was born
Yesterday 10428A's older brother was born, FPV cockpit driving beta testing in progress. Super stable, doesn't roll at high speed. Roll over everything. Powerfull V8 engine sound from ESS-ONE broke the silence in its surroundings.

    ican3d,
    Nice build!
I have a question. I am setting up a Yeti Xl for FPV and the springs seem really soft, well at least to me. When I pick up the Yeti XL from the ground the tires droop ab out an inch to almost 2 inches, which I think is too much. How much droop do you think would be normal? i don't want to go to stiff and have the camera bounce all over, but still want to be able to go crawling off road and explore.
    thanks!

Hi Rusty, sorry for late reply because i'm hangging around some other neigbourly FPV forum. I can't comment much about YETI XL because i never own one but as thumb rule 'if it soaks up bump it does the job'. So you'll need to do some trial and testing to see which suspension setup works for you. For my case all my trucks run on stock suspension setting out of the box, just added sponge damping between camera and servo to minimized vibration.

Free download: 3d printed Cockpit kit ideal for scale ground FPV models
(XL-RCP 44.0 Cockpit kit: For Radio Control models)

For those who own 3d printer and 1:10 scale FPV off-road/onroad models you can download this kit that i've designed months ago to create functional steering wheel and dashboard unit to make your live in-cockpit driving more immersive and lively. I'm sure you've guys seen it in action before from my previous youtube videos. Parts kit comes in two variants so make sure to read the documentation before 3d printing and installation. Enjoy.
