    Hi
How does it compare with a qav-r . Is one better for freestyle and the other better at racing ?
    Thx

We really like both, but they each have their own advantages. I wouldn't say 1 is better than the other for either, but more of a personal preference. Here are a few differences. Up to you!

    QAV-R
A little larger, more space for components and layout.
    Able to build 4", 5" , 6" configurations
    Removable arms
    Battery on Top

    QAV-X
    Symmetrical balanced X frame
Unibody plate, so it is lightweight
    Lower cost, less parts
    Battery on the bottom
Smaller and lighter, but more cramped

I thinke QAV-R best model. quadcopter airframe is a super stiff, light weight, finely tuned airframe designed for high performance... It`s best model for me... Looke video This model does not exhibit vibration in the on-board camera signal... The airframe comes with all Aluminum hardware. I thinke buy best Mini Quadcopter, and founde goode article here jonsguide

    Introducing the Lumenier Race Pod!

Will you join the Light side or the Dark side? The choice is yours...

The Lumenier Race Pod Cover is made from an ultra-durable Polycarbonate material and precisely injection molded. The Race Pod is a direct fit for the Lumenier QAV-X CHARPU FPV Racing Quadcopter, transforming it into a lean and mean racing machine! The Race Pod fully encompasses and protects all the sensitive electronics inside including the FPV camera, VTX, PDB, Flight Controller and receiver. It has been designed around the popular CM-650 FPV camera with mounting holes on each side which snap the camera into place. The camera has free range of motion allowing from -10 degrees up to 60 degrees. The FPV VTX antenna has a dedicated mounting platform on the back with a slot to secure the antenna cable via a cable tie. Slots in the top of the of the Pod allow for easy access and visibility to the VTX.

Pretty sweet. Love that its made of polycarbonate and will handle impacts very well. I'd just recommend caution about using thread lock in or around thermoplastics like polycarbonate.
