    1.2/1.3Ghz vtx/vrx experience?

Does anyone have experience with the 1.2/1.3 Ghz 200mW system? what is the range you get with the stock antennas? I am looking at minimum 500m without any problems. Is 1.3Ghz the best for range?

Actually 900mhz is the best for range, it's just that the antennas are huge so almost nobody uses it.

If you are looking for some ballpark numbers you can try this site:
    www.maxmyrange.com

I tested out your scenario and it shows a range of 5.81km so it sounds like 500m will be no problem.

If the standard whip antenna is a 1db rubber ducky, that's what I used on maxmyrange.
