Ground loop ? Interference with foxeer 600mw vtx and 1177 camera

So I have both these things on a quad. I get power 4s from the pdb and it goes to a polulu 12v step down. From there it goes to a small filter. Then from the filter 12v and ground goes to the vtx. Then from vtx I have 12v, ground and signal going to the camera .

The problem is that anything above 1/2 throttle I get lines on my video.

    could be caused by vibrations.

    are the lines horizontal?
could be messy wiring and EMI getting into it. could be maybe you need a stronger filter. or as bagofsoup said it might be vibration related.

If the lines are vertical, then it is a different problem. I've had a HS1177 recently that produced fine vertical lines. It was a problem in the camera itself, and the solution was to use a different one.

I guess you have solved the problem by now.

It does not seem to be a ground loop but hard to tell without a circuit.

I'll be going to 4S shortly and see no reason to reduce the voltage to 12 volts.

The HSS1177 takes 5v to 22v and I'll buy a camera that takes the 4S voltage.

I had one of my systems do the horizontal lines so put a lc filter on and it fixed the problem.

Anyway hope yours ours is fixed by now.

Well, the issue has gone away but I didn't actively do much. All I did was switch from 5740 to like 5800 and above and I don't seem them.

Great you got rid of the horizontal lines with a simple fix.
