    Checkin in from Seattle

newbie in drones, I had a spektrum dx6i laying around from my nitro airplane days, figured I should get back and start with fpv drones. I ordered a Kingkong 260 PNF from hobby king and will use Quanum Cyclops goggles.

I have a few foam airplans that I fly in carkeek

Looking forward to meet pilots in Seattle area

Sounds like you already crossed over to the dark side and got into multi rotors. The cool kids fly fixed wing FPV - just sayin.

Plenty of flyers in the area. A few of us up in Whidbey fly fixed wing and multi. I used to live in North Ballard - plenty of trail runs through Carkeek. You should drop into the WA thread and say what's up. Lots of good guys. Talk of upcoming events, etc.

I'd love to fly fixed wing planning to add a camera to my Hobbyzone Sport Cub S, it's a little guy, but surprisingly stable (oh and I have floats on it). Thanks for the info, just replied to the thread, asking where folks are flying in Seattle/Ballard area these days
