    Wow I feel like we are living in a new era of aeronautics pioneering. Computer flight controllers and electric motors allow for so many new airframe designs.

    Why would you want to go with a design that has 24 motors? Isn't that a little inefficient?

    It sounds that way - but then we're talking DARPA --- no telling what kinda advanced hardware is in that thing.
