For the full size one, do not connect 12v as the website directions say not to, it's not needed, just 5v from the pixhawk, Rx and ground. Then on the output just have video out from you can to Vin and Vout from the minimum to you TX.

Also the one you put 12v on does it do nothing at all?

That is correct. And when I try to connect it to the computer I canít flash it or anything either. I also was reading through the notes in the product description for the mrm osd, I see that if using ArduPilot there needs to be some adjustments made in mission planner too. Is this correct?

I don't think I adjust anything just pick the firmware for pixhawk/apm on the minimosd, sometimes you have to check the baud rate, also on mission planner there is a "enable osd" tab under additional sensors but if running on serial 1 you should not need it.

Also sometimes you have to use Arduino and adjust configs then build it.

Re: the burnt out osd if you are using the correct serial port correct voltage etc and no lights are coming on it's toast.

Another option is to use the hs1177 "swift" camera and put the furiousfpv piggyback osd on it. Takes up less space.

I have the classic minum micro but am looking for a better physical size option

If lights come on when the ftdi is connected then it's possibly working, most ftdi are a direct connect to the minimosd, my biggest challenge to start with was serial port driver's seems every item needs a different driver, they can be port and cable sensitive as well.

Hmmm, Iíll try again. It is direct connected to the ftdi so maybe I need to find another driver

((Whispering)) seeing that this thread isnít blowing up with activity, can I ask a couple questions regarding my osd? I recieved the new one from MRM and I followed the setup instructions they link to. At first I didnít have anything but snow, then I adjusted some of the configís in mission planner and I now have video but not much for osd.
