My vector has been showing a max of 74. Im assuming that is on take off but I dont punch it up to full throttle until Im ready to guide it up and pull it back down about two seconds after launch. One weird thing is my SS esc doesnt look like any of the other ones that you guys have been posting. It is in some pink shrink wrap with a big heat sink on top and has 110 hand written on it. I hope you are not missing some experimental esc over there Chris.

Word of advice: protect your nub... especially if you plan to test your batteries capacity and flight time, then make an emergency landing when the red suddenly starts flashing that drags you over some blacktop walkways
Sweet!! i have been thinking of how I'm going to protect that nub, I've got a selection of thermal formed parts at work I might sift through and goop on. That is if I can find one the right size.

So all in all is the vector fairly easy to setup? I'm debating on putting my cyclops storm in my drak or upgrading to the vector. My only problem is my time is limited, as I have two kiddos under the age of 3. Momma gets a little upset when I start watching to many YouTube videos in a row. Ha. Also I haven't seen any gps antennas, is everyone mounting them under the coroplast?

Definitely protect your nub. Mine is showing wear from 3 grass landings. I've got some of the 3m rubber strip to goop onto it.

Vector is super easy. The manual was written well and there are minimal steps to getting in the air. I might make a simple initial setup video. There's literally 10 steps to getting into the air, many of which are a click of a button or 2.

Finally today I maiden mine Drak (horrible weather and some travelling for the Company spoiled all oppurtinities, but worth waiting). Although a windy day (10-16 m/s) I took her to maiden. Most people on my club where looking like WTF is this
Overhead launch went very well, almost no trim needed, amazing build (by myself). Powered with 4S, OSMax 1200kV and 6600mAh and on a PixHawk. Think the smile on my face tells the story.
    Chris amazing plane you designed.

    Congrats Rico.

She does just fine down low. The beast is as steady as a rock.
