I do have a build log in the fixed wing section.

It's not complete, but the rest is pretty self explanatory. I will be finishing it in the log though soon.

Realizing now that it's not very explanatory if you haven't built a hardcore. I'd recommend following my or any of the other hardcore 44 build logs for sparring - the surface sparring configuration is identical, with the addition of having to cut the channels into the wingtips yourself (mine weren't cut - maybe yours are). Basically, lay in the wing spars first, then the horizontal spars over top of the wing spars (where they overlap). Some guys (Chris included) lay them in and then soak them in with CA, then kicker. I used beacon foam tac and goop just because I like the slight give of that glue (rubbery) while CA is hard (very stiff) but can get brittle after repeated smashings. This isn't a plane that I plan to smash though... It's a big cruiser.

Thought Id share my mini drak build. Really happy with how the wrap came out. Looking forward to getting this bird (of prey) in the air!

    That looks awesome!!!
If you're a noob, copy 1:1 what somebody already flies without too much questions, you'll find the answers later.
PatrikE: I don't see anything wrong in your dump...

I received it months ago. Aaaaand, ahem, it is still in the box like a dozen or so other planes I have.

So to answer your question, other than DVR - jack sh1t
I'm new to this thread as I just purchased a Big Drak from a friend, but I've taken my MD out 7.1 miles and landed 5 miles away... I'm abusing the word "landed" there... more like "Crashed really gently"... Anyhow the last GPS coords on the GPS would have left me with the craft in about a half mile radius, even assuming only a quarter of that I'd still be in that corn field searching.

TBS Crossfire's RX however has an internal battery and on main power eject goes into a beacon mode - so once I got close enough for the TBS to connect back up (~1/2 mile on the ground through corn) it picked up current GPS coordinates and we were able to walk right to it... Unfortunately I've done this trick three times now, so I'm pretty good at it...
