Anyone recommend a high write speed micro sd card that they haven't had issues with?
How that this affect battery life? Maybe in my head but I feel my battery does not last so long now after this awesome mod.
I use the Lexar 633x cards and have never had any problems with them. They write (by my tests) at 45mb/s which is plenty for me.
I know of the Sandisk EXTREME series (not Ultra) are very very good cards too with even more write speed

Mine is 1.2.13 and app says it's latest.
Also, does 1200x1600 videos, without stretching, so does not work properly (yes, it turns off noise filtering).
By the way, do you know that superview is not proportional stretching? Middle stays the same, only edges affected... Maybe script should do the same, i do not know - hard to tell from sample video, but looks like you just squash entire picture proportionally (in other words, just rescale it to proper dimensions and aspect ratio), which is not the same as superview is doing. Hard to tell from video, i do not know location and trees may look different on other side of world :P
