    Some cool 3GHz antennas here...

Not curricular, buy hey, there's more to FPV than mini quad racing.

I already use their 900MHz 13dBi panel and 17.5dBi Yagi antennas. Top quality stuff!

Ian, what do you currently use 3GHz antennas for?

    I don't. Like I say, I use this company's 900MHz antennas - and they're good.

Ah right. I didn't read the last part of your email properly... Those antennas do look like top notch tho.

I did some research about the usage of frequencies in the United States and just found these documents:
    http://www.ntia.doc.gov/files/ntia/p...00_01MAR14.pdf

    http://www.ntia.doc.gov/files/ntia/p...00_01MAR14.pdf

After reading this my expectations on this new band are not very high. I also found out why I get interference on 1258 in my area.
It all depends on the noise floor in your area.

Might just look into this, producing a crosshair and cloverleaf antenna doesn't take that long to construct and haven't found many noise sources around here to interfere in that band yet. 1.28 seems to have had issues over the last 3 years throughout the west coast due to some sort of repeater going off every 6 - 8 seconds or so.

edit: should have clicked the link before posting, especially if the DOD already has the 3300 to 3500 band up to 5 watts already allocated for radio location services on ship or land...

I think I know a company that may or may not already be working on them.

Or might have already sent samples to Hobby Wireless

If it is broken, fix it. if it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.

Alex, I was thinking that you would be involved. What do you think about 3.3 GHz?
Did you know the maps that I found (post # 25)?
