Exactly.... so when does the 2500/5000mw version come out? <--- serious question

It would be good if a lower-power option was also on the list. One of the biggest markets for FPV gear right now is probably the mini-quadcopter racing scene where the more people you can get flying at once, the better.

The problem is that unless you have a *fantastic* receiver, a 1W transmitter will just not be very useful in an environment where you're flying relatively close and with a lot of others on the same band. The average receiver will just lack the necessary dynamic range and adjacent channel-rejection (especially once the front-end starts getting overloaded and cross-mod/intermod becomes an issue).

We have a 500/1000mW version where the user can select between the two outputs, but this version is not coming in the first batch.
The first batch will have 1W transmitters only, which will definitely serve really well those users that need extra power. We have to keep in mind the new band has just been born.

My main concern is what else is on the band? Hopefully these guys have researched international frequency allocations and decided that they won't be stepping on aviation, military or some other important band.

1w of power is excessive though. I hope there will be a range of outputs from 200mw up.

How many channels does your new system offer? The 3300-3500 MHz range should be available. With 40 MHz bandwidth we could get 5 channels.
Do you have circular polarized antennas for this band?

Killer news! Can't wait to try it out. I am always looking to use frequencies that nobody else around is using. 2.3 is working well for me, so this will be a welcome addition to my rig!

I wouldn't mind reviewing it for my RCModelReviews channel... lots of FPV reviews are now planned for our Southern Summer.

I will, 20 mins later after get it in the post, or as soon as I find out what connectors will be there
If you're a noob, copy 1:1 what somebody already flies without too much questions, you'll find the answers later.
PatrikE: I don't see anything wrong in your dump...
    Derrick:
you are flying it LOS... You are doing it wrong.
