Dragonlink antenna on a non-Dragonlink receiver?

Can it be done? A Dragonlink antenna on a DTF UHF receiver? I normally use VAS semi rigid dipole but on this build I need something more flexible.
    Thank you.

I have had no problems when switching from DL to DTF. Wasn't about to try and remove my DL antennas from my planes. They are both on 433 anyhow, so it wont matter.
