Further more , the camera did work on the same voltage if I bypassed the OSD and plugged it straight into the TX which was running off the same source.

Im just trying to help man. If you have been around the lab as long as I have you would know that. Sounds like you have it all figured out though. Thats good!

Tried switching them around just for SandG nothing. I tried wiggle, giggle Etc. everything aside from throwing it. Unless the osd component itself is capable of changing the voltage that comes in from the current sensor The voltage to the cam should be the correct . To further check I guess I could put in a sd card and see if it records internally while hooked to that correct out port. I have read that the osd will adjust to the correct format automatically ,maybe thats where the problem is ???????

Either way it shouldn't be black. If your able to see the OSD then from the OSD to the TX is good so lets focus on the cam to the OSD. In all seriousness a pic is worth a thousand words.

    So... no pix huh.....

there have also been cases of cables assembled wrong from the factory resulting in wires going wrong places, all the more reason for more eyes on the problem as the experts that deal with these systems everyday can spot all sorts of things immediately.

I really do appreciate your help. I have done a tone of reading and research into this so I would get the right setup. Although I am new to Fpv , I have been doing RC planes my entire life so I am not new to strange problems . I am however , new to buying things from the web and having trouble with them not working . Normally if something doesn't work I'll just go back to where i got it. Actually ....Its rare if never that this stuff has a problem. And I am quite sure that 99% of problems like this one are user error.LOL.......Is there some way it can be tested . Somewhere I can send it? If i return it to HK it may take weeks or months and I'm pretty sure I voided the warranty by peeling back the plastic . also doing the procedures to connect RSSI and display black out. And no I didn't need to connect the ground going off the fact that the entire system shares a common ground.

If you are in an area with any amount of fpv'ers around it shouldn't take much to find a meetup or some sort of gathering where a bunch of nerds would be that could test it

Peeling off the plastic does not void warranty.

Where are you located there are plenty of places you can send it.
