    My brand new ezosd sux

Just got my EZOSD after three weeks. went ahead and soldered up the wires for RSSI and screen blank function. Then hooked up my rx Fat Shark tx and video cam. to all the proper ports. Awesome! ..GPS aquired....signal strength good display working ....Oh but wait....I just realized ...no video? So I plugged the Fat Shark HD Pilot cam. into the FatShark tx and what do I see? Video!...Back into the EZOSD...Blank screen with a perfect heads up display. So........Heres my next problem...I purchased the EZOSD from HK. oooooops. now that I have soldered wires onto the voltage sensor board ....Upppp void warranty ! And I tried to find the info for returning it but There's no return address. The address on the box says it came from Utah?????? I don't think I like HK anymore. They make real discouraging to return stuff. I paid one hundred eighty dollars for this thing and I cant even fly my plane now. How am I going toget this fixed and how long will I have to wait. I'm afraid to send off for another one for fear of the same ordeal......

PLEASE : Has anyone dealt with this and what advise can you give?

contact immersionrc. Could it be the voltage? most video gear is 12 volt and FS cameras are 5 volt.

Got a pic of how you have these things connected and each voltage that they use?

The EZOSD is the preferred system by Fat Shark . The system is set up to be plug and play. The camera powers up when hooked to EZOSD but no video mix.

Swillhide just responded to you......he is one of the tech guys. Post a pic for us. I have had this problem but it was because my camera needed more voltage then the OSD supplied. I changed to a camera that would work with 5 volts and it was all fine. Im not sure if that is your problem though.

Its all boxed up now . I'm just going to fly FPV close range with a spotter for now till I can get this fixed. Pictures won't help anyway....It only plugs together one way. the plugs and sockets all have designated sizes and are labeled for each specific component . As far as voltage goes , one would use common sense and realize that if the video TX is sending an OSD signal to the Fatshark than the camera should be getting the same voltage since it's tied into the same source.
