    Very hot SMA connector

Hi guys I know that is normal for a Vtx to get hot, but I wonder if this is normal (check pics), my frame is almost melting. This is from a Fat Shark 5.8 GHz, 250 MW, I'm using an angle sma connector and a Fat Shrk spironet antenna. thanks Click image for larger version.

Does your antenna have the pin in it's SMA connector that fits into the hole in the TX's SMA connector? You would have terrible range if it didn't, so if your range is okay then that is not it because you would be basically running the TX without the antenna.

yep antenna and sma connector have a correct connection, I don't know, maybe that hole in the frame is not meant to be used as I'm using it, maybe carbon fiber is interfering somehow?

Seeing as carbon fiber can be conductive, I would suggest you drill the carbon fiber hole out so the connector cannot touch the carbon fiber and see if that clears the trouble.
