Question DominatorV2 and noisy DVR, Warranty replacement?

The DomV2 are indeed a very good product, but a flaw in QC, and we are stuck with a noisy DVR that reduces range when using the new Nexwave 1.2Ghz module. Now fatshark releases an fix in form of an upgraded set, the Dominator v3....

It should be in FS best interest to support their customer with an free upgrade/replacement under warranty?

    best regards,
    Rolf Hult

Customers should NOT be forced into buying a new upgraded version of the product. There is a reason that the new DomV3 and DomHD2 is annonced...after all, the specs are pretty much identical as previous versions.

I'd send mine back for the upgrade. I'm currently stuck using the
Laser 1G3 Module after I had to request a refund on the nexwave 1G3
I agree with you guys, such a design flaw should be covered under warranty
and this flaw in design has been mentioned by fatshark themselvs. not like we
pulled it out of the air.

I will open an warranty case on my DomV2. Tested both the Nexwave and LaserBGC with my RvJet today. Filtered vTx and a highpass filter on the googles...still just after 1km...the interference kick in...

Both modules are version 2....and should perform better range than an ordinary 5.8Ghz!

As the DVR records way overexposed video pq, and Fat Shark already wrote in another thread that the DVR was noisy...I would expect warranty replacement.

    Exclamation

Opened an warranty claim at Hobbyking and got an RMA return case, with info to send my DomV2 to fat shark service provider "Lucky Stuff Ltd" located in Ipswitch, Suffolk.

I'm crossing fingers that Fat Shark already notify their service providers, telling them that the Dominator V2 has to be warranty upgraded with the new Dom v3 DVR board!

I did send an email to Fat Shark support here at Fpvlab, but as all other posts in here, they seem to #%$€& in their paying customers....
