    The 5.8 Horizon..performance?

    Hi guys,

I just got a horizon and today were my first flights with it. I am using Domv2, 5665 frequency, 200 mw transmitter with a IBC ultra TX antenna. The horizon is giving me about 70% range and much more static breakup than my old trusty IBC mad mushroom RX antenna. Am I doing something wrong? I am mounting it straight to the RX module and making sure the two fans are pointed straight up and down. Are you guys seeing better performance? I was hoping it would be much better since the advertised gain is much more. The IBC mad mushroom wins hands down in low level fast flying as well as distance at high altitude. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

    John,

First thing coming to my mind is a broken feed point on one of the fan. Please inspect and PM me for further instruction.
