I had this issue and was new to the Mission planner software. I'm like WTF does this Shit not work? Then I found out that Mission planner was auto configured for USB connection and not Bluetooth. Problems solved and now my phone and tablet are both showing GPS location from the Crossfire!

And it does! Rocking' - many thanks!

I'm missing SONARRANGE and HWVOLTAGE, but apart from that, all is good! Will test at the field once the weather clears.

If you turn the telemetry off on the Xfire does it effect the dynamic switching?

yes. Dynamic switching is reliant on telemetry data. no telemtry = no dynamic power

    Thanks, Slappo
Noticed that today and checked manual but didn't see a definitive answer.
Had 2 failsafes close in and checked and I was only Tx at 100mw.

"Only" 100mw at close range?? What's going on with that? 100mw is like 10-15km for me :|

Does crossfire cut out higher channels when signal gets low? We flew 14 miles here in the city last weekend and while we had control the whole time mode sw in vector didn't work far out. We had no manual rth. I beleive it was Ch 5 or 6. Rssi was reported as 43, but it was there a very long time and never changed. We've come to assume it's a calibration issue with pwm/analog rssi. Our hawkeye 433 rssi has been the same way dropped fairly to low 40's and then steady for miles.

I've had a similiar experience. Question though, when you got back closer to home did you regain the use of the higher channels?

It worked before we got to distance. Ran out of battery and had to ditch 1.5 miles out on the way back so didn't test. Since then it works fine on bench testing. I'm ok with it if it will keep the link working, it's certainly better than losing everything. Just would be good to know

btw we where 14miles out on 500mw with micro rx and a moxon
