I'm installing the telemetry system from a D4R-II Receiver to a Naze32, but the problem is that I'm running a 4S battery and the reciever only supports from 3.5-10V.
So, is it necesary to install a regulator between the telemetry pins of the Naze32 and the telemetry's port in the receiver?

P.S. I want to mention that I have set a regulator between the battery and the pins of the motors in the Naze32 to low the voltage to 7V. I made this so that the PPM cables from the Naze32 to the D4R-II would receive the correct voltage and not a higher one (14.8V = 4S).
