    CineTank MKII - Build Log

Hey guys! Here's a video build log I've done on the Flying Cinema: CineTank MKII

For a few years now I've flown and enjoyed the CineTank MKI and recently this year have begun a build with the newer MKII model which follows in the footsteps of the MKI, but with some nice improvements, and the high quality design Flying Cinema is known for.

For those looking into a fun build I highly recommend checking out the CineTank MKII. Here's a video build log I made:

Parts list I've used for the build:

A question came up in the YouTube comments: "what are the flight time like?
Also what is the range distance for this setup?"

Flight times are around 9-12 minutes playing it safe with the battery depending on how I'm flying. Range with the 2.4G link is around 1 mile (which is more than I generally need to fly). Video was good out that far.

@ throttleback - I think you'll enjoy this build if looking into it. It's my favorite build of a quad in the larger than 250-350mm sized craft. Lots of fun ways to work the Cinetank MKII.

Congrats Dave. I made the build video for the Mk1 but I haven't got a chance to play with the Mk2. I know that the guys at Flying Cinema are doing a great job and with RMRC parts it will be a hit.

Thanks guys! It's a really fun build and has worked well in so many locations. Flew a winery last weekend and will likely get to fly at a car club party this weekend. We'll see how that goes.

    Simply love the Cinetank MKII

Awesome build. This helped me a lot.

Are and of you using a ground station for your Cinetank and do you think it's necessary? I'm not looking to fly any further then 1.5 KMs. I"m using the IRC 600MW. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

No need for a ground station. You can easily do 1.5Km with a Patch on the fatshark. I would recommend the TBS Patch. I regularly do 1 to 1.5km with this patch on my goggle and a 200mW Vtx on my quad (line of sight of course, 5.8 is not very friendly with obstruction)
