ive been using the plastic with the foam behind it since day 1. My friend has the SBA aluminum one and it broke day 4. So Iím not sure what happened, but I like the plastic and foam combo. On my hellkite, I did the wood block and foam combo, came loose in a crash once but easy to glue back on.

I use this 3d printed mount. Printed with tpu. It is a little heavier than stock mount but i run a 3000 4s pack.

DVR only (and a crunched one too), but aero/speed mods seem to have worked just fine!!!

    Runcam Eagle 2, Tornado 2205 T1 2300kv(I later replaced it with a sunnysky 2216-7 1400KV and 8x6 prop), Immersion 600mW 5.8 VTX, TBS Crossfire, 1800mAh 4S.
    Flies very nice

I was curious what you ended up using as a technique to take things apart and clean things up. I need to fix the alignment on the tail on mine and would appreciate the advice.

    Thanks!

A sharp razerblade is the best way. Or high quality blades for stanley knives. In my case it was a little easier as I didn't need to preserve to the laminate, but I have had to re-align the tail too and gently cut the glue with a sharp blade.
You can then, with patience rub/peel off the remaining glue.

Starting to get to grips with the 'new' Banshee. Too windy/bumpy to fly low (it gets real bad there), but it's handling real nice now.

I didn't get the right motor mount in my kit. I just got a couple of square plywood ones. It's not really going to work, as they would hide the mounting screws. I would have to tear off the motor mount if I ever needed to replace the motor.
