So did the latest Taranis X9D Plus solve the issues with the button scrolling when used with the EzUHF on high power? How about the buzzing? Last threads I found about it are from 2014.

I have a Taranis and a Taranis plus and have never had an issue with the buttons.... well I do get the buzz but its no louder then the environmental noise when I am outside flying.

So I picked a plus up and you are correct. Nearly silent for me once I got a replacement Jr module. The first one I got that you helped me with and was defective made more noise in the taranis. Very nice radio for the money. My JR 8103 still has better gimbals, but also cost 4x as much!

I have a 14mz that I have been unable to get to work with my ezuhf module. My DX8 works flawlessly, but I really wish I had a module that would integrate like the JR module.

9x (not 9xR) plus ER9x via the SmartieParts (ooh! backlit!) board gets my vote.

$59 for the radio ($49 if you dont need a 2.4 module) and $36 for the board vs. $172 for the Taranis. The 9x could fail twice before it was the price of the Taranis. That said, I've beaten my 9x up for years and it's never skipped a beat or ever had an issue of any kind. No problems of any kind with both the JR module and the external EzUHF modules.

Futaba 10C w ezuhf box mounted on the back since 2012, no problems.

Are the 9x and 9xr radios pretty solid unit when combined with tahe Ezuhf JR module? I've had both radios with no issues, and I would like to utilize the JR module if possible.
