How long does the battery last with these? A larger HD screen must use more ma than others?

The specs are 340mA draw and it comes with a 1100 mAh battery. So 2.5 hours to be safe?

After fighting with an Oculus Rift setup that never came to be, I'm happy to see GetFPV getting us down the right path!

I happened to be on and I like to help where I can. This may be an evolutionary milestone for FPV.

I built a fresnel based FPV viewing box 5 years ago and it's still whips all the goggles (DOM, DOM V2, DOM HD) in terms of being immersive. Practicality no. Up until now the goggles were winning on the practicality front but this display is pulling that closer. What I found with fresnel simulators is that the eye is focused at near infinity which tricks the brain into seeing objects at a real distance. For whatever reason this provides a very 3D like illusion that I just don't get with the current FS goggles. This is one of the reasons that fresnels have been used in most of the commercial flight simulators for many years. I've pre-ordered and am really looking forward to the Headplay HD's. Yes I already own DOM HD's.
