    Farmernz, I think most cams do that. I know mine do when it encounters low light.

    HarryHastur, its a fairly inexpensive experiment I may just try it.

    hey mate it was just a cheap panasonic 700tvl with IR filter removed from surveil cams, any of the CCd cams will work with IR provifded the IR filters are removed, you can buy them from surveil zone without IR filter.

    If you really want to see at night why not go with a real night vision cam "FLIR" they are lower in res unless you want to spend a ton but the smaller is fine for night flight..
