Thread: Getting Into the Sport!

Too late, already purchased :-S. I might have to get a naze32 too then, try em both out. Right now I'm tossing up weather to get a IRC duo5800 diversity or the FR632, the latter is $90 cheaper. I'm gonna use the Spironet skew plannars coupled with either a 13dbi patch or a 5 turn VAS helical antenna. What's ur antenna setup gonna be?

U was gonna look at the Spironet LHCP's aswell, they seem to be quite good for the price that you pay.

Oh and WELCOME TO THE LAB!

    ps-get ALOT more props
Is it true the PilotHD V2 (new one) has lag? The original PilotHD did have lag for sure. The new one, however?

I just found the HobbyKing "Q Brain 4 x 20A Brushless Quadcopter ESC 2-4S 3A SBEC". It's also got all the signal leads, but I was wondering if anybody knew if it were compatible with the NAZE34 with all of its soldered points on it? Links below:

    TY in advance.

    NO! Just no.

While it seems like a great idea, blow one esc you blow them all, if you wanna go cheap get the Afro series ESCs, if you want to go super cheap get the blue series ESCs.

Has anybody used the Cobra 2204 2300kv motors? Are they good for a 300g quad? Running a Naze32?

I've got a mini 250 FPV, but i haven't fully built it yet. The Frame is around 200g I believe, but yea I fully intend on attaching a go pro and all the great FPV gear.
