I have also read bigger motor/prop with lower kv will use less power to a higher kv motor running smaller prop? I have flown 30% 3D planes for many years and am making the switch to multi rotors so I know next to nothing about them just researching like crazy!

Those motor mounts I don't believe will support 13", as they merely lift the motor up at its default place but not push it out like the ones Benny linked. I could be mistaken and I can go look at mine later today but I'm almost positive 12" is the max with the default L frame.

The ones you've selected are to adapt the motor mounts to fit motors with an asymmetric hole pattern.

You can get max of 12in props. the XL will support 16in props or more if you have longer booms, the tubes on the XL tank will be 272mm long

Do you think 30min flight times set up as fpv wth gopro/cinetank gimbal are within reach running dual lipo's and 12" props?

On the site they say the cinetank mk2 takes upto 12" props I ordered the cinetank mk2-L with much longer booms..I would of thought the increase length in the booms would allow larger prop then 12"?

I think you may have misunderstood Hertz, the site says 8 or 9 inch props for the Mk2, and the "L" sized Mk2 supports up to 12 inch props.

    So you have:
    Cinetank Mk.2: 8 or 9" props
    Cinetank Mk.2 L : 8-12" props

Hope this helps, let us know if you're still confused.
