Curious if anyone here has had good luck with autotuning via PIDC=3 ?
Curious if anyone here has had good luck with autotuning via PIDC=3 ?
hey guys,
here's a new power distribution board I made for my 250 quad,
it has a 5 volt BEC, voltage sense, current sense, connections for
video transmitter, camera, programmable led's.
sorry the picture isn't bigger on the post

that's very nice, how are you programming the led's?
just the WS2812 are programmable. in cleanflight, I put the PDB in http://fpvlab.com/forums/forumdispla...r-Distribution
that makes sense since it's built into cleanflight. It's hard to tell from the picture but it looks like you have 6 standard led's and 2 programmable.
I seem to have a slight tuning issue, that I can't get rid of.
Up to just below 3/4 throttle, I have everything very smooth, but at 3/4 there is a horrible wag and I can hear it warbling through the air. But one I get to full throttle, it goes away.
So it seems to be a resonant frequency thing at around 3/4 stick.
I have tried all sorts of gains, but still the same issue.
Anyone got an idea what i could be looking at?
Flying RCX250
1806 2400KV motors
12A esc
Gemfan 5x3 props
Only thing I can think of, is the props, so i've ordered some HQ 5x4 to see if that helps.
Cheers
I'm using Controller 1
TPA is at .60
I reduced the P gains until it started to become sloppy, but made no difference.
My Pitch Roll rates were at .60 but I reduced them to .40 and it has reduced the effect quite a lot. Not sure why this would happen.
What TPA are you running waltr1?
I know each frame is different, but maybe you could post up your settings for me to try as a test.
Cheers Lee
According to the documentation ( https://github.com/cleanflight/clean...ller-1-rewrite ) the pid controller 1 does not use TPA at all.
